Kayla Mitchell, LPC

Kayla graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Sociology in 2019. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State as well in 2022. Kayla is also pursuing teaching at her alma mater.

Kayla specializes in children and adolescents (ages 5-16) and substance abuse issues, specifically alcohol use. Kayla has ample experience in both individual and group counseling and is open to other types of treatment as well. Her scope of practice is focused, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, addiction, family discord, and grief.

Kayla approaches counseling in a dynamic way, where clients are actively involved in their own treatment. Kayla believes no one knows yourself better than you, and she is here to assist you on the road to recovery and healing. She looks forward to engaging with you, hearing your story, and helping you as you improve your life.
