Austin Smith, PMHNP-BC

Austin Smith, PMHNP-BC, is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing personalized, evidence-based mental health care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University and specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions.
Austin has a special clinical interest in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), women's mental health, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), perinatal mental health, and mood and anxiety disorders. He understands that every individual's mental health journey is unique and believes in developing treatment plans that are tailored to each person's specific needs and goals.
Using a holistic, biopsychosocial approach, Austin considers the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence emotional well-being. He partners closely with patients and their families to provide comprehensive care through medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education, and collaborative treatment planning.
