Anthony Shumway, PMHNP-BC

Tony is a Psychiatric / Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified. Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 and worked as a Registered Nurse in both medical and psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings for several years. He returned to school in pursuit of his master's degree in psychiatric / mental health nursing and graduated with honors in 2009. Tony has 10 years’ experience as a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in outpatient, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatry. Tony provides individualized medication management for adult and geriatric clients and prescribes medication in accordance with the latest evidence based research. Areas of specialization include mood and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, and dementia.
